SCHOOL OF DIVING

Admission Requirements

The minimum entering requirements senior school certificate examination (SSCE) or it's equivalent in not more than 2 sittings.

The subjects passed must include:

English Language, Mathematics, Physics and geography at credit levels.

Candidates must have Basic/Advance Idea in the area of their chosen course before taking the Underwater Diving Practical Training Program

AGE LIMIT:

17-40 Years.

NOTE!!! Candidates are expected to undergo a comprehensive medical examination and swimming test in any of our approved swimming and medical centers.

COMMERCIAL DIVERS TRAINING

Courses include:

  1. Commercial diver certification
  2. Entry level tender/diver certification
    • indicates that the diver is being trained to the ADCI Consensus Standard for Entry Level Air Tender/Diver, which is the working class certification for commercial divers. As the diver obtains work experience, their employer may apply to advance the credentials of the working diver to Air Diver, Mixed-Gas Diver, Air-Diving Supervisor, etc.
    • Nitric mixed-gas diving certification
    • Indestructible testing certification
    • Diver rigging training
    • Diver medic trading
  3. Nitrox Mixed-Gas Diving Certification of Completion
    • In this specialty elective, students develop their understanding of operating a mixed-gas rack and performing open water nitrox mixed-gas dives according to the Graf-Comas Marchant Navy Dive Manual Revision 9.
  4. Rigging RP-2D Certificate of Completion
    • indicates the recipient has received training and can perform working knowledge of rigging techniques and procedures.
  5. Non Destructive Testing Certification
    • Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) competency standards and can perform entry-level nondestructive testing (NDT) techniques.
  6. Diver Medic Training
    • This certificate is issued to students who have successfully completed training to prevent, recognize, and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel arrives.

3. Would I be able to take care of myself for 14 weeks

Divers are one of the easiest personnel to get employed in the maritime industry.

Entry level salaries start from USD$1,500 - USD$5,000 as basic per month depending on qualifications.
